The results of the 8th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest have been announced

The results of the 8th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest have just been announced. Our aim with this contest is to raise awareness about addictions, a universal issue and to educate the public, particularly the youth, on addiction prevention. We received submissions from 757 cartoonists representing 59 countries and a total of 1367 cartoons were evaluated.

Upon careful review by the jury members, the following artists have been selected for recognition:

First Prize: Hamed Mortazavi Alavi (Iran)

Second Prize: Musa Gümüş (Türkiye)

Third Prize: Sait Munzur (Türkiye)

Achievement Award: Dendy Heru Hardono (Indonesia)

Achievement Award: Emre Pakman (Türkiye)

Achievement Award: Sabit Aydın (Türkiye)

Mazhar Osman Award: Cenk Alparslan (Türkiye)

Under 16 Years Old Category Award: Ayşegül Yiğitoğlu (Türkiye)

Under 16 Years Old Award: A. Kayra Dinçer (Türkiye)

Under 16 Years Old Category Award: İrem Günaydın (Türkiye)

Under 16 Years Old Category Award: Duru Özgür (Türkiye)
