As Turkish Green Crescent Society, we commit to protecting the personal data collected, processed, stored, and archived from all internal parties (board of directors, disciplinary board, audit board, scientific board, candidate employees, employees, employee family members, candidate interns, interns, members, volunteers, donors, contracted workers, visitors entering our facilities, and affiliated company employees) and third parties in contact (employees of official institutions, consultants, academics, potential suppliers, current suppliers, campaign participants, and other third parties) in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) through the following eight principles;

The rights and requests of the data subjects are taken into account during processing. The rights of the data subject are outlined in Article 11 of the law;
- The concerned person may submit their requests regarding the rights outlined in Article 11 of the KVKK (deletion, learning whether it has been processed, learning the third parties to whom it has been transferred, and other rights specified in Article 11) through the following methods:

After receiving the relevant person's requests, the following steps are taken:
- It is checked whether identity verification has been performed concerning the request.
- The request is reviewed.
- It is verified whether the request is classified as a standard request for information, information change, or deletion.
- If the request is a standard request, the relevant unit is consulted to determine which group the individual whose personal data is being processed falls under (consultant, member, volunteer, donor, employee, third party, etc.).
- If the individual requests the deletion or destruction of data in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK, personal data will be deleted, anonymized, or destroyed if all conditions for processing personal data have ceased to exist.
- Request to learn the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data that does not have a legal basis for processing.
- Request notification of corrections or deletions to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred.
- Object to the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems resulting in a negative outcome for the person.
- Request compensation for damages resulting from the unlawful processing of personal data.
- Necessary technical and administrative measures are taken concerning data security during processing (necessary physical, environmental, and system measures are taken).
- Data is shared only in accordance with legal exceptions or with explicit consent. Personal data of internal parties and third parties are collected, processed, stored, and archived by our Society in accordance with the above eight principles.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and secondary regulations within the scope of the following purposes and legal reasons: In this context, the personal data provided, such as "name-surname, phone number, email, address, title, institution name", will be processed for the purpose of communication in your areas of activity and for the delivery of gifts and flowers based on the legal grounds of publicity in accordance with Article 5/2-d of the Law No. 6698 and legitimate interest under Article 5/2-f.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Turkish Green Crescent Society may share your personal data with suppliers for the delivery of gifts and flowers, Green Crescent promotional products, books, and magazines in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

Turkish Green Crescent Society collects your personal data when you hand over your business card to our employees or authorized persons or share your business card information with us through various methods. As a data subject, if you apply to Turkish Green Crescent Society in accordance with the procedures specified in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, Turkish Green Crescent Society will conclude your request free of charge as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, Turkish Green Crescent Society may request the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
